North American
Lubricants Introduces
Pure Green Product Line |
|
North American
Lubricants, Co. (NAL)
has announced the
introduction of its Pure
Green (TM) product line,
developed to capitalize
on the substantially
growing demand for
earthfriendly
lubricants.
Formulated with
"high-quality base
stocks refined from
collected used oil,"
Pure GreenTM is said to
deliver the unique
combination of ultimate
performance and
environmental
conservation. Through
the utilization of what
NAL says is select
re-refined base stocks
and advanced additive
systems, Pure GreenTM
lubricants are said to
offer performance equal
to or greater than
conventional lubricants
and have similar price
levels. Moreover, NAL
says, valuable
environmental benefits
are created through
preserving irreplaceable
petroleum resources,
reducing reliance on
foreign crude oil,
reducing the amount of
used oil that is
improperly disposed and
drastically reducing air
pollution caused by used
oil that is down-cycled
and burned.
NAL President Shane
Terry says, "The
introduction of Pure
GreenTM to our premium
brand continues our
corporation's dedication
to deliver new solutions
to the lubricant market
and maintains our
commitment to proactive
environmental
responsibility.
Antiquated re-refined
lubricant supply chains
had limited
availability, a limited
product line and did not
meet modern performance
specifications." Terry
continues, "After
solving these problems,
we received considerable
interest from a
wide-range of market
segments including;
municipal (State, City,
County) service
facilities, trucking,
garbage collection,
construction and
agricultural. This is a
significant addition to
one of the most valuable
lubricant programs in
the nation."
NAL Chairman Larry
Read added, "We are also
very excited about the
initial demand voiced
from our important
customers in the
installed oil change
market. We see an
immediate opportunity
for our fast lube
partners to use our
earth-friendly product
line to capitalize on
the growing percentage
of environmentally
sensitive consumers and
fleet accounts within
their customer base.
This service will add
needed revenue and
margin while
differentiating
themselves from local
competition and
enhancing customer
retention."
NAL will offer
passenger car motor oil,
heavy-duty engine oil,
hydraulic oil and
universal tractor fluid
within the bulk Pure
GreenTM product line.
The product will be
strategically introduced
through NAL's growing
distribution network in
44 states.

New ExxonMobil Brochure
Educates Fleet Managers
and Owner-Operators
about the Benefits of
Mobil Delvac Synthetic
Heavy-Duty Diesel Engine
Oils |
|
To help educate trucking
fleet managers and
owner- operators about
how synthetic lubricants
can enhance the
performance and
reliability of their
vehicles, as well as
potentially deliver fuel
economy benefits,
ExxonMobil today
introduced a new
six-page color brochure
for its flagship Mobil
Delvac synthetic
commercial vehicle
lubricants.
The Mobil Delvac lineup
of the fully synthetic
heavy- duty lubricants
includes Mobil Delvac
Synthetic Transmission
Fluid, Mobil Delvac
Synthetic Gear Oil,
Mobil Delvac Synthetic
ATF, and Mobil Delvac 1
ESP 5W-40 which, in June
2007, became the world's
first API CJ-4 licensed
all synthetic 5W-40
lubricant.
Available in print or
online, the brochure
details how using high
quality synthetic
lubricants, such as
Mobil Delvac 1 ESP
5W-40, can help fleet
managers and
owner-operators extend
drain intervals, enhance
soot handling, and
minimize wear, leading
to lower maintenance
costs and downtime.
In addition, the
brochure provides key
data, with accompanying
graphics and detailed
charts, that shows how
Mobil Delvac's full
range of synthetic oils
have performed in the
most challenging OEM and
industry standard
benchmark tests, such as
Sequence IIIG Oxidation
Test, CEC L60-1 Thermal
Oxidation Test, and
Cummins ISB Wear Test.
Test results show that
Mobil Delvac 1 ESP,
Mobil Delvac Synthetic
Gear Oils and Mobil
Delvac Synthetic
Transmission Fluids,
when used in
combination, can help
trucking fleets and/or
owner-operators generate
up to three-percent fuel
savings, compared to
conventional, mineral
lubricants.
"As the trucking
industry continues to
become more competitive,
and the technology used
in today's vehicles
continues to become more
advanced, fleet managers
and owner-operators are
increasingly looking at
ways to lower their
costs, by maximizing the
performance of their
vehicles and enhancing
fuel economy," said
Yeong Kwon, Commercial
Vehicle Lubricants'
product offer adviser,
ExxonMobil Lubricants &
Petroleum Specialties
Company.
"With our full lineup of
Mobil Delvac-branded,
high performance,
synthetic lubricants, we
continue to extend our
legacy of being at the
forefront of lubricant
technology, providing
the marketplace with a
range of products that
deliver outstanding
oxidation resistance,
wear protection and
viscosity stability, as
well as improved fuel
economy."
