BREAKING NEWS! |
|
CITGO's Lubricants Business is
on the Block
JobbersWorld has learned that
Citgo engaged Goldman, Sachs &
Co. to assist with the possible
sale of all or some of Citgo's
lubricants business in this
United States.
This business includes several
blend plants and a full line of
automotive and industrial
lubricants.
This move is not totally
unexpected considering Citgo's
recent announcement that it will
cease production of lubricant
base oils.
|
|
Chevron does it again |
|
Chevron announced earlier in the
week (Monday) an 11% posted
price increase on lubricants
effective October 10, 2008.
