CONOCOPHILLIPS LUBRICANTS LAUNCHES NEW LINE OF
SYNTHETIC INDUSTRIAL OILS |
ConocoPhillips Company, the fourth largest U.S.
lubricants supplier, announced the launch of a new
line of synthetic industrial lubricants available to
ConocoPhillips Lubricants customers who purchase
products under the Conoco, Phillips 66 and 76
Lubricants brands. The new line brings the benefits
and performance of the leading synthetic products
found under the three brands into a consolidated
line of oils. The expanded offering will feature 18
synthetic industrial products including gear,
compressor, hydraulic, turbine and specialty oils.
The line will increase the overall products
available to Conoco, Phillips 66 and 76 Lubricants
distributors, ultimately providing industrial
customers with a complete line and easier access to
these synthetic products, according to Tanya Niu,
director of industrial products.
“An increasing number of U.S. plants are making the
conversion to synthetic lubricants because of
potential benefits including reduced maintenance and
wear, overall reliability, reduced energy
consumption and long-term cost effectiveness,” added
Niu. “To address this need in the marketplace, we’ve
created one comprehensive product offering to serve
all of our customers’ synthetic industrial
lubricants needs. The Syncon®, Synterra® and
Syndustrial® products that comprise this new line
will make it easier for plants to obtain and take
advantage of the unparalleled performance of
synthetic lubricants.”

EXXONMOBIL INTRODUCES MOBIL 1 HIGH MILEAGE |
|
Expanding its comprehensive line of premium motor
oils, ExxonMobil has introduced Mobil 1 High
Mileage, engineered for the special needs of higher
mileage cars.
"As your engine ages, seals deteriorate, oil
burn-off increases and sludge can build up, which
can all result in a decrease in engine performance
and, ultimately, reduce engine life," said Tom
Olszewski, automotive technical advisor, ExxonMobil
Lubricants and Specialties. "Mobil 1 High Mileage
addresses the common concerns of the older car."
Mobil 1 High Mileage is a fully synthetic formula
featuring SuperSyn, an extra-high viscosity
synthetic fluid. In addition to outperforming both
conventional and other high mileage motor oils,
Mobil 1 High Mileage provides exceptional protection
against engine wear, under normal or even the most
extreme conditions.
Mobil 1 High Mileage is designed to maximize engine
performance and help extend engine life, reducing
the sludge and deposits that conventional oils can
leave behind. Its higher viscosity formula helps
reduce oil burn-off, while the extra anti-wear
additive protects critical engine parts and extends
engine life.
